On September 24, the ignition ceremony of the 400000 tons/year metallurgical solid waste cascade comprehensive utilization project of Jinyu Jidong Qian'an Company was held in the east square of North Kiln. Liu Yu, Vice General Manager and General Counsel of Beijing Jinyu Group Co., Ltd., Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of Jinyu Jidong Cement Group Co., Ltd., Sun Maolin, General Manager of Beijing Shougang Co., Ltd., Cao Xiangdong, Secretary of Qian'an Municipal Committee, Gao Yuming, Deputy Secretary of the Party Working Committee and Executive Deputy Director of the Management Committee of Qian'an Economic Development Zone, and leaders and representatives of relevant construction units attended the ignition ceremony. By building a complete chain of "solid waste recovery-resource extraction-product export",

the project has set a new benchmark for the co-disposal of solid waste in Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei. The successful commissioning of this project is an important milestone in the deepening of strategic cooperation between Jinyu Group and Shougang Group, and also sets an innovative benchmark for the collaborative disposal of solid waste in the steel and building materials industries. In addition, the project builds a green closed-loop of "iron steelmaking, steel rolling, slag building materials", promotes the recycling and high-value utilization of industrial solid waste, and injects new momentum into the coordinated development of the industrial chain.
