On April 19, the comprehensive utilization project of solid waste resources of Jinyu Jidong Cement Qian'an Company was put into operation. Wu Weidong, member of the Standing Committee of Hebei Provincial Party Committee and Secretary of Tangshan Municipal Party Committee, Zhao Minge, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of Shougang Group, Yang Renshu, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and President of Beijing University of Science and Technology, and Jiang Yingwu, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of Jinyu Group, attended the launch ceremony and delivered speeches.
The project is jointly funded by Jinyu Jidong Cement, Shougang Co., Ltd. and Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Steel Union Qian'an Environmental Science and Technology Company, which is another major cooperation achievement of Jinyu Group after investing in the comprehensive utilization of solid waste resources in Caofeidian, Tangshan. The project conforms to the concept of circular economy development, reduces, recycles and harmlessly disposes of metallurgical solid waste and mine tailings, and forms closed-loop management of solid waste in iron and steel industry and raw material application in building materials industry. Jiang Yingwu pointed out that Jinyu Group has established strategic partnerships with Shougang Group, Beijing University of Science and Technology, Tangshan Municipal Government and Qian'an Municipal Government successively, jointly implemented the national strategy of coordinated development between Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei and the strategy of "double carbon", promoted the deep integration of "government, production, learning, research and application", and through the construction of mutual benefit. We will comprehensively promote strategic cooperation in the development and utilization of mining solid waste resources, smelting solid waste resources and capital operation. In the future, Jinyu Group will further develop its industrial advantages, strengthen scientific research in the field of metallurgical solid waste, cooperate sincerely with all parties, jointly promote the construction of Jinyu Shougang Circular Economy Industrial Park, achieve the goal of "hazardous solid waste in the park and finished products out of the park", and become a new benchmark for the development of upstream and downstream industrial chain linkage and coordinated disposal of solid waste industry. It will contribute more to building a "waste-free city" and "clean city".
