Digital New Energy DataBM. Com learned from JT Jietai Science and Technology Public Number that recently, Junda's overseas production capacity layout has fallen again.
Its subsidiary, Jietai New Energy Investment (Hong Kong) Co., Ltd., formally signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Schmid Pekinta Pekintaş Energy, a leading local new energy technology company in Turkey. The two sides will jointly build the first phase of 2G W high-efficiency photovoltaic cell production base under Turkey's HIT30 plan, and later plan to expand to 5G W.
It is understood that Schmid Pekinta Pekintaş Energy is the largest solar module manufacturer in Turkey and Europe. It was founded in 2014 by Pekinta Pekintaş Holding, a large Turkish construction group, and Schmid Group, an international pioneer of photovoltaic technology in Germany.
It is worth noting that Turkey's photovoltaic module production capacity has exceeded 15GW, ranking first in Europe, but due to the high barriers to photovoltaic cell technology and the high demand for talents and R & D capabilities, there is still a significant shortage in the battery sector. Its annual import of battery products is up to 10GW.
In this cooperation, Junda will fully introduce Junda's leading N-type high-efficiency battery technology, relying on the company's deep technology accumulation and manufacturing system in the photovoltaic field , to effectively meet the urgent needs of Turkey and other global markets for high-performance, high-reliability photovoltaic cells.
In terms of overseas capacity distribution, in addition to Turkey, Junda has started the construction of an annual production base of 5G W high-efficiency N-type batteries in Oman as early as October 31, 2024, and is expected to be completed and put into operation in 2025.
