On May 8, the General Office of the State Administration for Market Regulation issued a circular on the activities of "National Special Equipment Safety Day" in 2025. Market supervision bureaus (departments, commissions)
of all provinces, autonomous regions, municipalities directly under the Central Government and Sinkiang Production and Construction Corps, China Special Equipment Inspection and Research Institute, China Association for the Promotion of Special Equipment Safety and Energy Conservation:
To continuously enhance the public's awareness of the safety of special equipment, the "National Special Equipment Safety Day" in 2025 is scheduled to be launched in June this year. The relevant matters are hereby notified as follows:
I. The activity
will be held on June 29, 2025 (Sunday).
2. The theme
of the activity is to protect the safety of special equipment and share a better life.
3. Activities
(1) Hold the main venue activities of "Special Equipment Safety Day". Publish the LOGO of "National Special Equipment Safety Day", publish the innovative measures of national special equipment safety supervision in 2025, the achievements of national special equipment law popularization knowledge contest, the achievements of Beijing Youth Special Equipment Painting Exhibition, display the latest scientific research achievements in the field of national special equipment, and organize excellent special equipment operators to demonstrate their skills. Academicians and experts in the field of special equipment are invited to give keynote speeches. The main venue activities are sponsored by the General Administration and undertaken by the Beijing Municipal Market Supervision Bureau.
(2) Local market supervision departments jointly carry out thematic activities. Local market supervision departments work together to carry out activities such as "Three Entries" of special equipment safety and "Great Publicity" of the most beautiful special equipment workers, and organize activities such as "Great Training" of special equipment safety supervision posts and "Great Exposure" of typical accident cases according to local conditions, so as to create a good social atmosphere.
(3) Special equipment inspection institutions carry out popular science practice simultaneously. China Special Inspection Institute focuses on organizing popular science practice activities for teenagers, and local inspection institutions actively carry out special experience activities such as "Laboratory Open Day", "Base Day Tour" and "Inspection Site Tour" for the masses, so as to display the technical support ability of special equipment inspection and testing in an all-round and multi-angle way, and effectively enhance the sense of identity of the whole society.
(4) Special equipment industry associations coordinate to carry out thematic publicity. China Special Equipment Safety and Energy Conservation Promotion Association organized a knowledge contest on special equipment safety popularization, and put posters on "National Special Equipment Safety Day" in public places in Beijing. Local special equipment industry associations hold industry development seminars, issue industry self-discipline proposals, and constantly create a clean and healthy industry development environment.
(5) The news media at all levels shall concentrate on carrying out activities to publicize and report. Through the website of the General Administration and the media affiliated to the General Administration, such as China Market Supervision Daily, China Quality Daily and Special Public Number, the General Administration has carried out in-depth publicity activities and coordinated the broadcasting activities of CCTV, People's Daily, Xinhua News Agency and other central media. Local market supervision news and publicity agencies launched the mainstream media in the region to carry out activities to publicize and report, forming an all-media communication matrix of newspapers, radio, television, websites and new media, and setting off a "National Special Equipment Safety Day" publicity boom.
4. Activity requirements
(1) Strengthen organizational leadership. Provincial market supervision departments and relevant units should attach great importance to the "National Special Equipment Safety Day" as an important publicity node, carefully plan and deploy, strengthen overall coordination, make every effort to organize and promote, carry out high-quality thematic publicity activities with different characteristics, and strive to achieve practical results.
(2) Strictly observe work discipline. Provincial market supervision departments and relevant units should strictly abide by the spirit of the Eight Provisions of the Central Committee and its implementation rules, strictly implement the provisions of the General Administration on holding meetings and activities, strengthen compliance management, practise thrift, guard against formalism, carry out the activities of "National Special Equipment Safety Day" in a concise and refined manner, and strictly prevent all kinds of violations of discipline and regulations.
(3) Summarize the results in time. The provincial market supervision departments should seriously summarize the activities carried out in the region and timely introduce the special publicity activities to the General Administration. The General Administration will earnestly sum up the results of the activities, vigorously publicize the highlights and typical experiences of various activities, and continue to build the "National Special Equipment Safety Day" into a high-quality project of market supervision and cultural construction.
