Recently, the General Administration of Market Supervision (the National Standards Committee) approved and issued 42 compulsory national standards for labor protection articles, covering eight major areas of labor protection, including eye and face, hearing, breathing, head, hand, foot, clothing and fall protection, involving standards for product quality and safety, selection, use and maintenance, and covering the whole country. It will further strengthen the bottom line of labor protection safety, and comprehensively improve the safety level of the whole chain of labor protection products, such as market access, production and circulation, selection and maintenance.
This batch of standards highlights the practical orientation of "prevention, wearing properly and wearing firmly", and promotes the transformation of labor protection articles from "useful" to "right and good", mainly including five aspects:
12 standards such as Laser Protective Equipment for Eye and Face Protection have been issued, and specifications for eye and face protection have been given around labor risk factors and scenarios such as laser, strong light, industrial welding and chemical splashing; technical requirements for respiratory protective equipment such as self-contained open-circuit compressed air respirators and self-contained closed-circuit oxygen escape respirators have been refined; Update the structural parameters and sound attenuation index of hearing protection equipment such as earplugs and earmuffs to adapt to the current product market.
In terms of head protection, three standards, such as "Head Protection Rescue Helmet", have been issued to strengthen the adaptability of special scenarios, such as "Rescue Helmet", which stipulates the test method of impact resistance, and "Anti-static Work Helmet" to ensure the safety of personnel in electrostatic risk environment. Anti-static work cap products are required to dissipate more than half of the static electricity within 4s.
In terms of hand and foot protection, eight standards, such as "Foot Protection and Toe Protection Baotou", have been issued, which stipulate the technical requirements of hand and foot protective equipment in view of typical risk factors such as high temperature, cold, mechanical injury and foot puncture, and further strengthen the performance indicators such as puncture prevention and corrosion prevention, so as to ensure the safety of hand and foot. For example, in the General Technical Specification for Foot Protection, it is stipulated that the upper of polyurethane material should be free of cracks after 150000 times of continuous bending.
In terms of clothing protection, 14 standards, such as the Chemical protective suit for Protective Clothing, have been issued, which stipulate the technical requirements and testing methods for protective suit under various specific working conditions, such as chemical protection, microwave protection, electrostatic protection, occupational rainproof, etc. Comprehensive and systematic response to chemical, low temperature, electromagnetic, biological, mechanical and other labor environment risks. In terms of
fall protection, five standards, such as "Fall Protection Connectors", have been issued to further standardize the static strength and dynamic performance of fall protection equipment such as buffers, connectors and self-locking devices, such as "Fall Protection Buffers", which require them to withstand a load of 15 K N without breaking. To ensure the safety of the fall protection equipment system and effectively reduce the casualties of operators.
This batch of standards has set a 12-month transition period for implementation, which not only gives production enterprises sufficient time to upgrade products and adjust production, but also gives sales enterprises time to synchronously absorb inventory products and products on sale. The General Administration of Market Supervision will further strengthen the publicity of standards, promote the implementation of standards as soon as possible, and strengthen the quality and safety supervision of key labor protection articles.
