On December 23, Hunan Hengdong Bailian Town 80MW Tea-Light Complementary Power Generation Project was started. The project is constructed by Hunan Development Xiaochu New Energy Company, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Hunan Development, with an investment of about 340 million yuan. It adopts the "tea-light complementary" mode, and plans to install about 103.47 MW on the DC side and about 80 MW on the AC side. In April 2025
, Hunan Development Xiaochu New Energy Company spent about 50.17 million yuan to rent 2506 mu of land in Liyu Village and Xiaochu Village, Bailian Town, Hengdong County, with a lease period of 20 years, which was supervised by the town government.
