On August 12, the first public participation information announcement was made on the environmental impact assessment of Fuhai County Light Storage Hydrogen Ammonia Alcohol Integration Project of Fuyang Hydrogen Run Energy Technology (Fuhai) Co., Ltd. According to
the EIA information, Fuhai County Light Storage Hydrogen-Ammonia-Alcohol Integration Project of Fuyang Hydrogen-Run Energy Technology (Fuhai) Co., Ltd. is located in Fuhai County, Altay Prefecture, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, where the hydrogen production system is located in Fuhai Industrial Park, Altay Prefecture; The photovoltaic power generation system is located about 42km to the south of Fuhai County.
The project builds 36000 tons/year green hydrogen system, mainly including 50000Nm ³/H electrolytic water hydrogen production system and related auxiliary systems, 72 sets of 1000Nm ³/H alkaline electrolyzers, 30 spherical storage tanks with 2000m/1.5MPa, and 100000 tons/year green synthetic ammonia production line. One set of 150,000t/a synthetic methanol system. On June 11,
2025, Jiangsu Shuangliang New Energy Equipment Co., Ltd. entered into a contract with Hongyang New Energy Development Group Jilin Co., Ltd. for the supply of green hydrogen production system with a contract amount of RMB450 million. Fuhai County Photovoltaic Storage Hydrogen-Ammonia-Alcohol Integration Project involved in the contract has a green hydrogen capacity of 72000Nm ³/H, and is equipped with 5000Nm ³/H, 3000Nm ³/H and 2000Nm ³/H alkaline electrolyzers. On March 17, 2025, Hongyang New Energy Development Group Jilin Co., Ltd. issued a framework tender solicitation announcement for
the project of integration of light, storage, hydrogen, ammonia and alcohol in Fuhai County, Altay.
The project is the first large-scale green hydrogen project in Altay region, and the two sides have established a cooperative relationship since the release of the new 5000 Nm3/H alkaline electrolyzer in Shuangliang in 2024.
