Wang Lei Investigates Enterprises in Xinjiang Operating Area

25 to July 26, Wang Lei, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and President of Shanshui Cement Group, visited the enterprises affiliated to Xinjiang Operating Zone for investigation and research, accompanied by Dong Chuanxiu, member of the Party Committee of the Group and General Manager of Xinjiang Operating Zone.

Wang Lei and his delegation went to Shache, Yingjisha and Shule companies in Xinjiang operation area to inspect the cement clinker production line sites of each company, and comprehensively understand the work of enterprise operation, site management, equipment operation, safety management and quality control. They also held symposiums in the conference rooms of the companies to listen to the work reports of the heads of the companies and to have cordial exchanges with the personnel of the group in Xinjiang.

Wang Lei fully affirmed the achievements made by Xinjiang Operating Zone in recent years in maintaining the ecological construction of the industry and improving the level of on-site management, and hoped that the operating zone would work hard and press ahead to achieve the annual target task.

Wang Lei pointed out that improving profitability is the core of the survival and development of enterprises, and every effort should be made to increase income and reduce expenditure. In view of the next step of the operation area, Wang Lei requested that, first, we should strengthen our confidence in maintaining the healthy development of the industry, unswervingly implement peak-staggering production, and precisely implement measures to stabilize the price, quantity and market; second, we should carry out in-depth tapping potential, reducing consumption, reducing costs and increasing efficiency, and continuously enhance the market competitiveness of enterprises; third, we should further optimize human resources management, improve the personnel exchange mechanism, and constantly stimulate the vitality of talents. During the

investigation, Wang Lei also had in-depth exchanges with his counterparts in the Keka region on anti-involution work. Relevant personnel of

the Group Office, the Production Management Department and the Human Resources Department, as well as relevant personnel of the Xinjiang Operation Zone and the research enterprises, participated in the research activities.
