Another way is to combine silicon with these thin-film cells: we have a large silicon solar industry that cannot be discarded. Adding another layer of perovskite cell to the silicon cell — what we call a "tandem cell" — can increase the efficiency of the cell by another layer. This is also the direction that the industry is pursuing and striving for. The development of solar photovoltaic technology
in China is very rapid. From the course of global PV development , in the first stage, Japan, the United States and Europe have played an important role in promoting; in the second stage, Germany has set an advanced example for the world through the Renewable Energy Law; in the third stage, China's accession has become the most critical driving force. Because of China's involvement, the efficiency of solar cells has been pushed up step by step, and the cost has been reduced to 1/20 of that year, even lower than existing traditional energy sources. It can be said that the technological progress and scale explosion of this industry are mainly driven by China.
