Overview of Baoying Section
of Yanbao Line Channel Regulation Project: The Baoying Section of Yanbao Line Channel Regulation Project starts from the junction of the upstream of Baoying Lock and the Beijing-Hangzhou Canal and ends at the junction of Yangzhou City and Yancheng City, with 37.609 kilometers of channel regulated according to the third-class channel standard. The designed ship tonnage is 1000 tons, and 14 bridges are planned to be rebuilt (newly built) (old Huaijiang Baoshe River Bridge, Weimin Road Pedestrian Bridge, Wangzhi Port Center Bridge, Junshi Bridge, Bianjia Bridge, Zhangshi Town West Bridge, Baoxing Bridge, Tangwan Bridge, Wangjia Bridge Pedestrian Bridge, Wangjia Bridge, Qijia Bridge, Zhaojia Bridge Pedestrian Bridge, Gaoxia Bridge and Liaoyu Bridge). The basic dimensions of the channel are as follows: the designed bottom width of the channel shall not be less than 45m, the minimum navigable water depth shall be 3.2m, and the minimum bending radius shall be 320m (for local sections with special difficulties, according to 3.0.5 in GB50139-2014, 292 m shall be taken as 4 times of the maximum length). The main contents of this waterway project include revetment works, earthwork, management boat berthing revetment, hydraulic structure of service area, etc.
