On November 5, the Management Committee of Suqian Economic Development Zone of Jiangsu Province issued the acceptance and approval announcement of the EIA document of the "6.2G W TOPCon High Efficiency Solar Cell Technology Reform Project with Annual Output".
The announcement shows that the project is a reconstruction and expansion project, the construction unit is Jiangsu Longheng New Energy Co., Ltd. (Hereinafter referred to as "Longheng New Energy"), the total investment of the project is 220 million yuan, adding LPCVD, ALD, BSG, RCA, light injection, LECO and other intelligent equipment and auxiliary equipment to the existing plant. Make full use of the old equipment and upgrade the existing facilities, production processes and inefficient production equipment.
The project has obtained the Jiangsu Investment Project Record Certificate (Sukai Approval [2025] No.89) issued by the Administrative Examination and Approval Bureau of Suqian Economic Development Zone on April 16.
Previously, in December 2019, Longheng New Energy invested 5,981.446 million yuan in Suqian Economic and Technological Development Zone for the construction of "10GW High-efficiency Solar Cell Project with Annual Output", which was implemented in two phases. At present, the main works of Phase I and Phase II and their environmental protection facilities have been completed and the environmental protection acceptance of the project has been carried out, and the acceptance is qualified. In August
2021, Longheng New Energy put into operation the third phase of the project "5G W high-efficiency solar cell project per year" in the existing plant area, adding three new production lines and 5G W high-efficiency monocrystalline silicon solar cells. The conversion efficiency of the existing monocrystalline silicon solar cell is improved from 22.5% to 23.3%. In August
2023, the company also built a "technical renovation project of 3GW high-efficiency solar cells per year".
The annual output of 6.2G W TOPCon high-efficiency solar cell technology project relies on the third phase of the project battery workshop for production, without new industrial land. According to
the data, Jiangsu Longheng New Energy Co., Ltd. was established in December 2019, and its main business covers the research and development, manufacture and sale of solar cell modules. The controlling shareholder of the company is Zhongrun Solar Energy .
