Com has learned that Atlas recently disclosed on the interactive platform that the company's capacity layout in the United States is steadily advancing, the 5GW component factory has successfully passed the running-in period, and is expected to reach the design capacity in the second half of this year. The output in 2025 is estimated to be above 3GW.
It is understood that the factory is located in Mesquite, Texas, USA, with a total investment of more than 250 million US dollars and about 1500 employees. It mainly produces TOPCon photovoltaic modules with a daily output of 20000 .
Previously, Atlas announced in June 2023 that it would invest in the construction of the plant, which was officially put into operation at the end of 2023 and began to deliver 210-size products. It was officially opened in June 2024.
It is worth noting that Atlas has also built a 5GW battery factory in Jeffersonville, Indiana, USA. The intent is to supply component plants in Texas. It is reported that the battery factory is expected to invest more than 800 million US dollars (about 5.724 billion RMB) and is scheduled to start production by the end of 2025.
