On July 9, the welder technical competition of Xiangshan Cement Company was launched in full swing, which set up a wonderful stage for the company's welder team to show their skills and compete.
This skill competition carefully sets up two links of theoretical knowledge competition and practical operation skill assessment to comprehensively test the comprehensive quality of the participating employees. Among them, the theoretical knowledge competition focuses on the basic principles and process specifications of electric welding, and deeply examines the staff's mastery of professional knowledge; the practical operation skills assessment directly hits the core of actual combat, focusing on the evaluation of the staff's proficiency in the use of common welding methods, especially for the vertical welding, overhead welding and other difficult welding skills, which is strictly tested, and the welder's practical skills are considered in an all-round way. In the course of the
competition, there are many bright spots in each link. On the theoretical test site, the participating employees examined the questions calmly and answered them carefully, showing solid theoretical reserve and good professional accomplishment between pen and paper; in the practical operation assessment area, the welding experts held their breath and operated accurately with welding guns in hand. Behind the smooth welds, they showed superb welding skills and rigorous working attitude. During the whole process, the referee team strictly followed the scoring criteria, starting with the details of pipeline counterpart accuracy, groove grinding fineness and weld appearance flatness, and quantified the evaluation one by one, so as to ensure the credibility of the competition with professional, fair and fair evaluation criteria, so that the whole competition was always in good order, and finally ended successfully.
The contest effectively achieved the expected goal of "promoting learning by competition, promoting training by learning and promoting application by training". It not only builds a platform for technical exchange for participating employees, but also stimulates the enthusiasm of all employees to study skills and improve their abilities through competitive competition, and creates a strong atmosphere of "loving and dedicating to work, practicing hard skills and studying technology" within the company, which injects a strong impetus into the continuous improvement of the company's welding technology level.
