In June, the national concrete market continued the pattern of "weak volume and price", and the downward pressure was further highlighted. Affected by the continuous Meiyu in the south, the high temperature in the north and the local rainfall, the construction progress of the whole country is generally limited. The downturn in the housing construction market has dragged down the overall demand, the progress of infrastructure projects has been slow, and the amount of new construction has been insufficient. Cost side support continued to collapse, and upstream cement and other raw material prices generally fell.
By the end of June, the National Concrete Price Index (CONCPI) closed at 96.84 points, down 2.53% from the end of May and 17.88% from the same period last year.
