On July 1, the Development and Reform Commission of Kunyu City of the 14th Division of Xinjiang Corps announced that the nuclear 600000 kilowatt photovoltaic sand control demonstration project in Pishan Farm of the 14th Division had been moved out of the list of market-oriented grid-connected new energy projects of the Corps. The project is a demonstration project of photovoltaic sand control, and the owner of the project is China Nuclear Huineng Xinjiang Energy Development Co., Ltd.
In addition, on June 18 and 27, the Development and Reform Commission of the Second, Fourth, Sixth, Eighth and Tenth Divisions of Xinjiang Corps announced the list of 10 photovoltaic projects moving out of the Corps'market-oriented grid-connected new energy projects.
According to incomplete statistics, as of July 3, June 2025, Xinjiang Corps has publicized the removal list of 11 photovoltaic projects, involving about 5.6GW of photovoltaic installed capacity. The enterprises involved include energy central enterprises such as China Energy Construction, China Nuclear Power Corporation and State Power Investment Corporation, as well as local state-owned enterprises such as North Xinjiang Energy, China New Power Corporation and Coal Power Corporation of the Sixth Agricultural Division.
