On June 26, foreign media reported that Swiss solar panel manufacturer Meyerberg filed for bankruptcy protection in the United States, with assets estimated at about 710 million to 3.58 billion yuan and liabilities of about 3.58 billion to 7.16 billion yuan. Earlier, on May 29, Meyerberg announced the closure of the U.S. solar panel factory and 282 layoffs, and on May 31, it filed for bankruptcy of two German subsidiaries due to financial constraints. In addition, as far as we know, Meyerberg's 2024 annual report was originally scheduled to be released on April 15, 2025, but has been postponed twice. On June 20, the announcement said that the deadline for release would be extended to the end of July 2025.
