On June 24, foreign media reported that Longji Green Energy officially launched a solar cell and module manufacturing plant with an annual capacity of 1.4G W in Deltamas Industrial Zone, West Java Province, Indonesia. The plant was established by Longji in cooperation with Pertamina NRE, a subsidiary of Pertamina, Indonesia's national energy company, and uses Longji HPBC 2.0 technology to manufacture high-efficiency components. After the implementation of the project, Indonesia's solar energy production capacity will be increased to 3GW, helping it achieve the target of 300GW-400GW photovoltaic installation in 2060. Previously, in September 2023, Longji Green Energy signed an agreement of intent with several Indonesian companies at the Indonesian Sustainable Development Forum to provide advanced components for many projects in Indonesia.
In addition, on June 19, Trina Solar opened its solar cell and module plant in Kendal Special Economic Zone, Central Java, Indonesia, which will soon be put into operation. The plant has an annual module capacity of 1GW, with a future target of 3GW, which will be jointly constructed by Trina Solar and several Indonesian enterprises.
