On October 24, the "2024 China Cement Double Carbon Conference and the 12th Energy Conservation and Environmental Protection Technology Exchange Conference" was held in Wuhu, Anhui Province. Ye Jiayuan, Vice President of Cement New Materials Institute of China Building Materials Research Institute, brought "Technological Path and Prospect of Low Carbon Development of Cement Industry".
Ye Jiayuan pointed out that the key technologies for carbon reduction in China's cement industry in the future will mainly include: high energy efficiency firing, high efficiency grinding (roller press final grinding) technology and equipment; low carbon cement system development, preparation and application technology; key technologies for cement kiln alternative fuel (biomass) pretreatment and calcination; Key Technologies of Oxy-fuel Combustion and CO2 Capture and Utilization in Cement Kiln;
1. Find out the family background accurately and strengthen the data base (get rid of the dependence on foreign data);
2. Improve the standard and accounting verification system to be scientific, objective, just and fair;
3. Coordinate with multiple industries to find a reasonable and economical way out for massive CO2;
4. The energy structure must be changed as soon as possible to support the zero carbon emission of energy in the cement industry;
5. Enterprises and the government have their own responsibilities, the government actively guides and enterprises actively innovate.
