Recently, the Department of Agriculture and Rural Areas of Anhui Province released the list of digital agricultural factories (farms, pastures, fishing grounds) in Anhui Province in 2024, and the Conch Tomato Digital Agricultural Factory of Baimashan Cement Plant was successfully selected. Relying on the demonstration line of carbon dioxide capture and purification of cement kiln flue gas in Baimashan Cement Plant
, Conch Intelligent Agriculture Project uses the captured carbon dioxide as plant gas fertilizer to promote plant photosynthesis and realize the reuse of carbon dioxide resources. At the same time, the waste heat in the cement production process is used to provide a stable temperature environment for plants, replacing the traditional greenhouse temperature control mode of natural gas heating and air conditioning refrigeration, increasing crop yield and reducing carbon dioxide emissions. The company uses soilless culture and other technologies to set up sensors and controllers in the greenhouse to record the growth data of plants from planting to harvesting in real time, timely analysis, early warning and intelligent regulation of temperature, light, water, gas and fertilizer, so as to provide the optimal growth environment for greenhouse tomatoes.
In the wave of green and low carbon, Conch Cement leads the transformation and development of the industry with its outstanding achievements in energy saving and carbon reduction. As a pioneer in the industry, Conch Cement has made remarkable achievements in technological innovation, energy saving and emission reduction, and resource recycling, and has comprehensively accelerated the development of green low-carbon cycle.
At the upcoming "2024 China Cement Double Carbon Conference and the 12th Energy Conservation and Environmental Protection Technology Exchange Conference", the leaders of Conch Cement will deliver welcome speeches and thematic reports to share the experience and achievements of Conch Cement's low-carbon development with the participants, so as to inject new impetus into the green upgrading of the industry.
