International Cement Group Opens New Plant in Kazakhstan

International Cement Group (ICG) announced the official opening of its fourth integrated cement plant, Korcem. The new plant, located in Koldai District, Zhambyl Oblast, Kazakhstan, will increase the Group's annual production capacity by 1.5 million metric tons to a total capacity of 5.5 million metric tons, making it the largest new dry process cement producer in Kazakhstan.

This is the largest single investment by a Singaporean company in Kazakhstan, exceeding US $153 million. It is expected that the plant will begin to contribute to sales in the second quarter of 2025 and create more than 300 local jobs.
