In Uzbekistan, a remote Central Asian country, the Tashkent Conch 5000t/d Cement Project undertaken by the MCC17 Group has entered the stage of comprehensive construction, with excavators and dump trucks shuttling back and forth.
At the site of the MCC17's Tashkent Conch 5000t/d Cement Project, more than 500 Chinese and foreign workers are working. The Tashkent Conch 5000t/d Cement Project was started in November 2021 and is scheduled to be completed by the end of this year. "At present, it is in the stage of large-scale work, and has completed the work of raw material allocation round storehouse and the pouring of No.1, 2 and 3 cement storehouses, and will continue to construct according to the schedule." Xia Xiansheng, director of the MCC17 Overseas Business Management Department, said.
It is understood that the Tashkent Conch Project is located in Ahangalan District, Tashkent Prefecture, Uzbekistan. The total investment of the project is about 260 million US dollars. It is a national key project of Uzbekistan. It adopts the most advanced technology and equipment facilities for cement production in China. The project is divided into two bid sections. The first bid section includes sub-items such as limestone crushing, combined storage, raw material storage, clinker storage, kiln head, kiln center and kiln tail; the second bid section includes sub-items such as section mill, cement storage, cement packaging, cement blending and plant front area. On April 18 this year, the main equipment rotary kiln of the Tashkent Conch Project in Uzbekistan was successfully closed.
