Two cement plants failed to pass the evaluation and assessment of energy-saving work

On May 18, the Qinghai Development and Reform Commission issued a public announcement on the evaluation and assessment of energy-saving work of key energy-using units in 2025.

In accordance with the requirements of the state and Qinghai Province on the evaluation and assessment of energy-saving target responsibility, and in accordance with the Measures for Energy-saving Management of Key Energy-using Units and the Notice on the Evaluation and Assessment of Energy-saving Target Responsibility of Key Energy-using Units in Qinghai Province in 2025. The announcement of the energy-saving assessment results of cement enterprises in Qinghai is not only an intuitive reflection of the energy efficiency management level of regional enterprises, but also a microcosm of the high-pressure supervision situation of environmental protection and energy saving in the national cement industry. Under the environment of normalization of environmental protection supervision, tightening of energy consumption indicators and increasingly tight carbon emission quotas, the future industry competition will no longer simply compete for production capacity and output, but focus on environmental protection strength, energy consumption control ability and low-carbon transformation level.
