12th National Mine Rescue Technology Competition will be held in Huainan City, Anhui Province, from October 17 to 20. This is the first time that the Ministry of Emergency Management has jointly organized a national rescue technology competition in the field of mine safety production since its establishment. With the theme of "improving rescue skills and displaying the style of the times", the competition aims at the new situation, new risks and new challenges faced by the field of mine safety production, and promotes training through competition and training. Comprehensively test and assess the technical and tactical level of the professional emergency rescue team, improve the overall quality of the team, promote the modernization of the national emergency rescue team for production safety, demonstrate the new achievements and new features of the construction of the national standing emergency backbone force, and build a safety emergency rescue team with "both professional and regular skills, sensitive response, excellent style and strong skills".
The competition highlights professionalism, technicality and practicality, and sets up individual and group events. The participating teams shall be organized into emergency rescue teams for production safety, which shall be selected and recommended by provinces (autonomous regions, municipalities directly under the Central Government), Sinkiang Production and Construction Corps and contractors. The winners of group, individual and individual all-round events will be commended and rewarded in the competition. The qualified winners will be recommended to declare the national honorary title.
The competition is jointly sponsored by the Ministry of Emergency Management, the All-China Federation of Trade Unions, the Central Committee of the Communist Youth League, the State Administration of Mine Safety and the People's Government of Anhui Province, organized by the National Emergency Rescue Center for Safe Production and the Mine Rescue Center of the Ministry of Emergency Management, and co-sponsored by the Anhui Emergency Management Department, the Anhui Bureau of the State Administration of Mine Safety and the People's Government of Huainan City. It is undertaken by Huaihe Energy Holding Group Co., Ltd. The competition is divided into mine group and tunnel group. The items include theoretical examination, comprehensive skills, commander tactics, simulated disaster relief, technician skills, medical first aid, respirator operation, small guide tunnel rescue channel operation, etc.
