In the Yangtze River waters, to achieve full chain inventory and all-round coverage, the joint Changhang Public Security, Honghu City Water Administration Supervision Brigade and Jiayu County Water Administration Law Enforcement Brigade conducted a dragnet safety investigation in the whole waters. Strengthen regional cooperation and county-city (district) linkage in land and water and their main streams, and resolutely do not let go of a doubtful point in combination with key inspection of border waters, sensitive areas, centralized berthing points of sand dredgers and sites of permitted mining areas; in small and medium-sized rivers, law enforcement officers cross mountains and rivers to protect the safety of rivers with their feet.
In this action, Zhu Zhengjun, Director of Sand Management Bureau of Hubei Water Resources Department, led the working group to supervise the joint law enforcement action of river sand mining in Xianning City, put forward new requirements for the daily inspection and supervision of river sand mining management, and affirmed the management of river sand mining in Xianning City.
