On the morning of June 27, Chengdu Chenxian Optoelectronics Co., Ltd. (Hereinafter referred to as Chenxian Optoelectronics) and Chengdu High-tech Industrial Development Zone formally signed the Micro-led display production base project at the centralized signing ceremony of the "100-day fortification" major project of Chengdu manufacturing industry. This marks the official launch of the world's first TFT-based Micro-led display production line in Chengdu, Sichuan.
The project is located in the Rouxian Optical Valley Industrial Park of Chengdu High-tech Zone, covering an area of about 53 mu, with an estimated total investment of 3 billion yuan. Relying on the key technology breakthroughs and intellectual property accumulation in the field of TFT-based Micro-led display in the early stage, the production line of Chenxian Optoelectronics is all designed independently, introducing a number of "first set" of mass production equipment, and integrating the intelligent production system into the clean production area and supporting construction. The project is scheduled to start construction in early July this year, complete the plant roof by the end of November, and officially ship products in the fourth quarter of 2024. According to Chenxian Optoelectronics, this is the world's first TFT-based Micro-led display production line.
In addition to the contracted project, in May this year, Chengdu Chenxian Photoelectric Co., Ltd. announced the development of a 4.78-inch TFT-based Micro-led frameless splicing display module, which successfully achieved a technological breakthrough of 100% lighting rate. This is also the first TFT-based Micro-led frameless tiled display module with 100% lighting rate in China.
It is understood that Chengdu Chenxian Optoelectronics Co., Ltd. was established in Chengdu High-tech Zone on August 4, 2020.
