Recently, the Department of Housing and Urban-Rural Development of Yunnan Province issued the Circular on the Price Fluctuation of Major Engineering Materials in Yunnan Province in May 2023 (hereinafter referred to as the Circular). According to the contents of the Circular, the prices of construction sand and stone in all cities of Yunnan Province have decreased slightly. Among them, the area with the largest month-on-month decrease of coarse sand and gravel is Simao District of Pu'er City, with 121 yuan/m3 for coarse sand and 101 yuan/m3 for gravel, decreasing by 2.44% and 2.94% respectively; the area with the highest price of coarse sand and gravel is Dali City of Dali Prefecture, with 150 yuan/m3 for coarse sand and 138 yuan/m3 for gravel. cement prices in the whole province decreased by 1.11% compared with the previous month and 0.83% compared with the same period last year. Among them, the price of ordinary Portland cement decreased by 0.97%, the price of slag Portland cement decreased by 1.32% and the price of composite Portland cement decreased by 1.11% compared with the previous month. Among them, the price of crushed stone decreased by 0.26% and the price of rubble decreased by 0.29% compared with the previous month. The price fluctuation of
commercial concrete in the whole province decreased by 0.35% compared with the previous month. Price fluctuation of
autoclaved aerated concrete blocks decreased by 4.40%
compared with the same period last year. The price of autoclaved aerated concrete blocks in the whole province increased by 0.09% compared with the previous month and 2.18% compared with the same period last year. The fluctuation of
steel prices in the whole province decreased by 4.87% compared with the previous month and 19.32% compared with the same period last year. Among them, the price of hot-rolled plain round steel bar (high-speed wire) decreased by 6.48%, the price of hot-rolled ribbed steel bar (rebar) decreased by 6.54%, and the price of hot-rolled round steel decreased by 3.36%.
