In recent years, Suzhou Water Bureau has implemented the deployment requirements of "jointly protecting and not developing", promoted the management of sand mining in the Yangtze River, and effectively guaranteed the flood control, shipping and ecological safety of the Yangtze River (Suzhou Section).

Actively promote the "convergence of the two laws", carry out joint law enforcement, organize illegal sand mining cases to "look back", and promote information sharing, information exchange and execution exchange among water, public security and procuratorial departments. Actively carry out comprehensive renovation actions, jointly with public security, transportation and other departments to carry out comprehensive renovation of sand mining and strengthen the annual action, to form a joint effort.
Third, optimize the management mechanism and continuously improve the effectiveness of supervision. We will carry out training to enhance the ability of law enforcement, and focus on enhancing the legal literacy of the water administrative law enforcement team in such aspects as "linking up the two laws" and cracking down on illegal sand mining in the Yangtze River. Innovation of "cloud supervision" mode, improvement of dredging vessel positioning cross-border, abnormal trajectory monitoring and alarm mechanism, to achieve dredging project mining, transportation, blowing, throwing 24 hours all-weather supervision of the whole process. Pilot dredging sand resource utilization, and give full play to the comprehensive benefits of sand mining supervision.
