Recently, the first fully assembled bridge in Hubei Province has been successfully hoisted, and the bridge construction has entered a new stage of "building blocks" construction. On the construction site of G107 National Highway Wuhan Dongxihu Section Rapid Renovation and Upgrading Project (Section II), a bridge pier with a length of 12.86 meters and a weight of 101 tons was lifted by a 350-ton crawler crane and accurately assembled on the base, dropping the "first building block" of the project. by the China Construction Third Engineering Bureau, is the first construction site in Hubei Province to adopt the construction technology of fully assembled bridges. The project adopts the general contracting management mode, constructs a fully assembled intelligent prefabricated component yard, and completes 30% of the bridge substructure construction through factory prefabrication, on-site assembly and other procedures, including 52 prefabricated piers and 28 capping beams. Compared with the traditional cast-in-place scheme of conventional piers, the temporary road-occupying range is 16 meters and the time is 6 months. The full assembly construction technology greatly shortens the construction period. The temporary road-occupying range is only 14 meters and the time is only 3 months. During the construction period, the temporary road-occupying time is reduced by 50% and the temporary road-occupying range is reduced by 12.5%.

In order to ensure the safety and precise assembly of prefabricated piers, the project adopts new equipment such as positioning base, turning bracket and fine adjustment counterforce seat. In the aspect of prefabrication, the matching positioning base is used to make the embedded parts of the bearing platform and the prefabricated pier sleeve correspond to each other, so as to reduce the manufacturing error; in the aspect of transportation, the overturning bracket is used to cooperate with the crane to complete the two overturning smoothly, so as to reduce the transportation error; in the aspect of installation, the fine adjustment counterforce seat is used to cooperate with the Jack to adjust the verticality of the pier, so as to "put together" the millimeter-level accuracy. first fully assembled bridge has created "acceleration" and ensured "high quality" for the opening target of the main line bridge of the National Highway 107 reconstruction project by the end of 2023. The application of the new technology of fully assembled prefabricated components not only strengthens the control and management of the quality and safety of the project, but also greatly saves the construction period of the bridge substructure, helps to fulfill the contract quickly, and effectively reduces the impact on social traffic.
