Recently, the Yunnan Business Department of China Construction Western Construction Southwest Co., Ltd. has successfully signed a contract for the Central Yunnan Water Diversion Project, with a contracted volume of 341,000 square meters.
It originates from the middle of Yunnan and stretches for thousands of miles, and it is built with concrete to nourish thousands of people. The Central Yunnan Water Diversion Project is a landmark project among the 172 major water conservancy projects for water conservation and water supply determined by the State Council. It is also the largest water resources allocation project with the largest investment in southwest China and the largest water diversion project under construction in China. After the completion of the project, water can be diverted from the main stream of the Jinsha River, which is relatively abundant in water, to the central Yunnan region, alleviating the contradiction between urban production and domestic water use in the central Yunnan region, improving the ecological and water environment of rivers and lakes in the region, and effectively promoting the sustainable development of Yunnan's economy and society.
