As a major traffic project in the Yangtze River Delta Integration Demonstration Zone, the West Extension Section of Shanghai Rail Transit Line 17 is now in full swing. The main tower of the key node Lanlugang Bridge has been poured and will soon enter the stage of bridge deck laying. At the construction site of Lanlugang Bridge
of Qingpu Xicen Rail Transit Line 17, two cast-in-place main tower piers stand on both sides. Construction workers are preparing for the construction of bridge deck splicing. Liu Xiaojian, project manager of
Shanghai Rail Transit Line 17 West Extension Project, said: "The main span of Lanlugang Bridge is 180 meters, which should be the largest span bridge in the same type of rail transit bridge in our country.". The 122034 predicts that we will be able to achieve mid-span closure by the end of this year.
As it is located above the three-level channel, in order to ensure the safety of bridge construction, the construction party will build a fully enclosed tray under the hanging basket to prevent falling objects from affecting the passage of the channel. The side of the main beam of Lanlugang Bridge on Line 17 is equipped with water ripple landscape lights, which will become a landmark building in the central area of Xicen Kechuang after completion. The west extension section of Line 17 will also safely cross the G50 Shanghai-Chongqing Expressway. At present, the structural works of the main line section and the station are also being implemented simultaneously.
In the future, Line 17 and the Shanghai section of the Intercity Railway Demonstration Zone, which has already started construction, will transfer at Xicen Station, providing great transportation convenience for Xicen Kechuang Center, Huawei Qingpu R & D Center and the surrounding residents.
