On September 15, with the assembly of the last 128.8-ton prefabricated component roof in place, Longxing Station, the second phase of Shenzhen Metro Line 16, was completed, marking the completion of the capping of the largest fully assembled metro station in China. The second phase of
Shenzhen Metro Line 16 is located in Longgang District, Shenzhen City, with a total length of 9.54 kilometers. Longxing Station is one of the three prefabricated stations in the project, with a total length of 298 meters and an overall assembly rate of 79.5%. It is the largest fully prefabricated metro station in China and the first batch of prefabricated pilot metro stations in Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.
The whole station is composed of 595 "building blocks" which are assembled in order on site. For the first time, the roof adopts a single flat arch structure, weighing 128.8 tons, which is the heaviest single component of the assembled metro station in China.
"Longxing Station's" internal support + large block + full assembly " (construction) is the first in China, and there is no mature experience to draw lessons from in China. The station is located in the karst development area, so the precise hoisting of large prefabricated components is the biggest problem faced by the construction of Longxing Station." Ding Ze, project manager of the fourth work area of the second phase of Shenzhen Metro Line 16 of China Railway Fourteenth Bureau Group, introduced.
"Prefabricated construction technology is not affected by the winter construction environment, and can shorten the construction period by 30% compared with the traditional cast-in-place construction method." Ding Ze introduced that the construction personnel assembled the prefabricated components in the same order as "building blocks", which not only realized the factory production of building structure construction, but also reduced the dust and noise on the construction site, and only reduced nearly 80% of the construction waste in the construction process of Longxing Station. During the peak period of construction at Longxing Station, there are only 40 workers on site, which is about 80% less than traditional cast-in-place construction.
Up to now, three assembly stations in the second phase of Shenzhen Metro Line 16 are progressing smoothly. In addition to the capped Fukeng Station and Longxing Station, Apollo South Station is scheduled to complete the construction of the assembly section by the end of October this year. The second phase of Shenzhen Metro Line 16 is scheduled to be completed in 2025, which will effectively strengthen the connection between Longgang Central City and yuanshan District, realize the "cohesion and external connection" of the eastern center, and at the same time, meet the travel needs of residents in Henggang and yuanshan districts, so as to promote urban renewal along the line.
