Over the past few days, the departments of ecological environment, natural resources, public security, market supervision, electric power and other relevant towns and streets in Yongji City, Shanxi Province, have jointly carried out special law enforcement and renovation actions in the sand and gravel industry, severely cracked down on the illegal activities of the ecological environment of sand and gravel processing, and maintained the rigid constraints of laws and regulations on the protection of the ecological environment. During the
activity, the towns and streets of Yongji City conducted a thorough investigation of the sand and gravel processing and utilization enterprises in the whole city, and found that four illegal sand and gravel processing enterprises, three new stone processing processes in mixing stations had not gone through the environmental impact assessment procedures, and one cement products factory had gone through the project filing but had not gone through the environmental impact assessment procedures.
In view of the scattered and dirty sand and gravel processing enterprises found in the investigation, they were ordered to dismantle all production facilities and complete site leveling. In accordance with the relevant provisions of the Environmental Impact Assessment Law of the People's Republic of China, the ecological environment department shall order the sand and gravel processing and utilization enterprises that have not gone through the formalities of environmental impact assessment to stop construction, impose fines and dismantle relevant production facilities within a time limit. As of August 30, the special law enforcement and renovation of the sand and gravel industry has imposed a total fine of 66000 yuan on related ecological and environmental violations, all illegal construction of sand and gravel processing machinery has been dismantled and displaced, and related scattered polluting enterprises have completed site leveling.
Next, Yongji City will strictly implement the responsibility of industry supervision, strengthen the supervision and management of commercial concrete industry by the housing and construction departments, strengthen the investigation and punishment of unlicensed and unlicensed business by the market supervision departments, strengthen the on-site verification of power supply enterprises by the power supply departments, intensify the investigation and punishment of illegal ecological environment by the ecological environment departments, strengthen the territorial management of towns and streets, and establish the sand and gravel industry.
