The total investment of the project is planned to be 5 billion yuan, covering an area of about 600 mu. It can convert coal gangue and other solid wastes into ceramsite or gravel on a large scale and sell them to a large number of light aggregate and sand aggregate markets. At the same time, it can produce a large amount of green energy such as steam to realize the comprehensive utilization of resources and energy. It is hoped that through this cooperation, a national solid waste industry benchmarking demonstration project will be established to lead the development of the national solid waste industry.
Subsequently, the two sides discussed and exchanged specific issues such as the source, supply quantity and age of coal gangue, the application scenario of steam waste heat, the feasibility of heating grid connection and pipeline transportation, the authority of freight railway transportation and daily transportation volume, and the participation of platform companies.
Li Dongsheng emphasized that Yungang District has outstanding comparative advantages in energy resources. Last year, the output of raw coal reached 99.34 million tons, while about 35 million tons of coal gangue and 5 million tons of fly ash were produced annually. In the past, most of them were disposed of by dumping and landfill, but they were not effectively disposed of and utilized. This cooperation will give full play to the advantages of enterprises and the government, achieve new breakthroughs in promoting the development of the comprehensive utilization industry of bulk solid waste, and truly realize the "eating dry and squeezing clean" of bulk solid waste, which not only effectively solves the ecological and environmental protection problems that have plagued Yungang District for many years, but also achieves the unity of economic and social benefits, and provides fertile soil for the vigorous development of green building materials industry in Yungang District. It is hoped that the two sides will take this exchange and discussion as an opportunity to further accelerate the pace of cooperation and sign a formal investment cooperation agreement as soon as possible.
