The project of "Key Technology and Engineering Application of Large Size Cadmium Telluride Power Glass" won the Sichuan Science and Technology Progress Award.

The project of "Key Technologies and Engineering Applications of Large-size Cadmium Telluride Power Generation Glass" won the first prize of Sichuan Science and Technology Progress Award in 2022. The project was jointly completed by Chengdu China Building Material Photoelectric Materials Co., Ltd., affiliated to Triumph Science and Technology Group, and China Building Material Glass New Materials Research Institute. Relying on high-end platforms such as the State Key Laboratory of China Building Material Glass New Material Research Institute and the National Glass New Material Manufacturing Innovation Center,

the project has built the world's first cadmium telluride power generation glass industry chain park in Sichuan, realizing the self-control of the whole industry chain technology of power generation glass. The products of this project have been popularized and applied in the fields of roof and curtain wall of industrial and commercial buildings, public transport, airport buildings, infrastructure, rural housing construction and renovation, and renovation of old residential areas in cities and towns, which has greatly promoted the rapid development of power generation glass technology and industrialization in China, and realized the transformation of glass industry from traditional glass field to electronic glass.
