In order to be more "green", Shahe glass industry has continuously carried out environmental protection technology revolution to achieve "ultra-low" and even "ultra-low" emission transformation. At present, Shahe has built environmental protection facilities such as desulfurization, denitrification and dust removal with high standards for all glass enterprises in production, and has completed the construction of "plume whitening" project, which is unprecedented in investment and intensity.
Taking the emission of nitrogen oxides as an example, the initial national emission standard is not more than 500 mg per cubic meter, and the revised local standard of Hebei Province after 2020 is not more than 200 mg per cubic meter. At the same time, Shahe strengthens the control of pollutants in transportation, entry, processing, factory and other links to ensure the realization of "granular material into the shed, powder into the warehouse, closed transportation, the whole process control". Shahe Economic Development Zone, where glass enterprises are concentrated, was awarded the title of "Hebei Green Park", and Hebei Xinli Glass Co., Ltd., Hebei Dejin Glass Co., Ltd. and Shahe Hongsheng Glass Co., Ltd. were awarded the title of "Hebei Green Factory".
Achieving ultra-low emissions is not the end point. Shahe glass industry gathers, even if all individual enterprises meet the standards, the regional environmental pressure is still great. Shahe proposed to implement the double control target of emission concentration and total emission for enterprises, and to take measures such as ordering rectification for enterprises exceeding the monthly control target, so as to force enterprises to strengthen management and reduce emissions and continuously reduce pollutant emissions.
Efforts should be made to "slim down" and promote the industry to develop

"In the past, Shahe glass was mainly 4 to 6 mm building glass, and a number of high-end technological renovation projects are being implemented to guide glass enterprises to upgrade to high-tech and high value-added products such as ultra-white ultra-thin automotive glass, high-end glass manufacturing and glass fiber."
