< P > The website of the Ministry of Commerce of Myanmar announced that four kinds of building materials, including cement, steel bars, nails, and zinc tiles, which are used for the development and construction of border areas such as Muse, Kyugu, and Namkham in the northern part of Shan State, Tachilek in the eastern part of Shan State, and Myawaddy in Kayin State, are exempted from paying customs duties, and income is obtained from export trade, according to the certificate issued by the local "Peace and Development Commission" for local construction. The above four building materials can be imported duty-free.

< P > An official from the Department of Border Trade of the Ministry of Commerce said: This regulation has existed before and is generally valid until the end of the second fiscal year. However, at present, it is valid until the abolition of this regulation is announced. The Ministry of Finance and Taxation is responsible for the implementation of this regulation.
