9月16日，国家统计局公布了8月份经济数据。
其中，数据显示，8月份水泥产量18808万吨，同比下降13.1%，1-8月水泥产量135485万吨，同比下降14.2%。
8月份，面对复杂严峻的国际环境和国内疫情散发多发、极端高温天气等多重超预期考验，在以习近平同志为核心的党中央坚强领导下，各地区各部门高效统筹疫情防控和经济社会发展，加力落实稳经济一揽子政策和接续政策措施，加快释放政策效能，国民经济延续恢复发展态势，生产需求稳中有升，就业物价总体稳定，多数指标好于上月。
