前三季度，全国水泥总产量达167627万吨，同比降幅缩窄至1.1%，远超市场预期。
根据国家统计局最新数据显示，9月全国水泥总产量达23341万吨，同比增长6.4%。纵观过去数年9月份的水泥产量，2013年的时候达到过2.25亿吨，此后基本在2~2.2亿吨区间之内，今年9月则创下了历史同期最高的产量，同比去年增产超过1500万吨。
今年自4月以来至今，各月的水泥单月产量同比增速均实现正增长。5、6月份增速最高，7月份增速有所回落，8、9月份重新回升，均保持在6%以上。与往年一样，三季度中9月份依然是水泥产量最高的一个月，环比实现持续回升，显示水泥需求逐月放大。同期，水泥价格持续回升，企业效益有明显改善。

1-7月份，规模以上建材行业实现营业收入3.2万亿元，同比增长20.0%，比2019年同期增长21.1%，两年平均增长10.0%；实现利润总额2642.4亿元，同比增长18.5%，比2019年同期增长16.3%，两年平均增长7.8%。
