Cement production line of China Building Materials Zambia Industrial Park successfully ignited

   At 10 o'clock on May 23, local time in Zambia, the production line of China Building Materials Zambia Industrial Park with an annual output of 1 million tons of clinker cement was successfully ignited, three months ahead of the contract period. Zhang yuanci, Chairman of Sinoma Cement Mpande Limestone Co., Ltd., Liu Huafeng, Deputy Manager of Sinoma Construction Zambia Project, and nearly 200 employees from various construction units in the industrial park attended the ignition ceremony.

   At the ignition ceremony, Zhang yuanci delivered a speech on behalf of the owner. He reviewed the course and achievements of the project construction, thanked all the employees involved in the project construction for their hard work, and expressed his earnest hope for the early production of qualified cement. After the ignition ceremony, people from all sides took a group photo under the rotary kiln to remember this exciting and important moment.

   Located in Lusaka, the capital of Zambia, CNBM Zambia Industrial Park is one of the important measures taken by CNBM Group to implement the spirit of "Promoting Central Enterprises to Participate in the Belt and Road Construction and International Capacity and Equipment Manufacturing Cooperation Work Conference", and is also the first overseas "mini industrial park" of CNBM Group's circular economy development model with cement plants as the leading industry. The cement plant project came into effect on September 30, 2016, the site construction started on October 15, 2016, and the installation of the preheater tower started on March 15, 2017. Since the commencement of the project, with the care of the leaders of timber construction and the strong support of various departments, the project department has carefully planned and all the staff have worked hard to overcome the difficulties of the 10-month rainy season, more than 2200 kilometers of inland transportation and more than meters of pile foundation 17000 on the premise of ensuring the safety and quality of the site. The construction speed ranks first in the construction of overseas cement plants under the same conditions.

   In the next step, the Zambian project team will continue to work hard to reach the production standard as soon as possible, pass the performance assessment and complete the completion acceptance, and submit a satisfactory answer to the group and the company.
