Signed a number of contracts for "one district, one factory" in Ghana
From May 5 to 9, at the invitation of the Ministry of Trade and Industry of Ghana, CNBM Import and Export, a subsidiary of China National Building Material Group, visited Ghana and signed a number of important agreements and contracts to firmly promote the "One Zone, One Factory" project.
Chen Yongxin, General Manager of China Building Materials Import and Export, and Ghana President H. E. Mr. Nana Akufo Addo, Vice President H. E. Mr. Mahamudu Bawumia, First Lady H. E. Mrs. Rebecca Akufo Addo, The Minister of Trade and Industry, the Hon. Mr. Alan Kyerematen and the Deputy Minister of Finance held separate talks and signed the contract on behalf of the company.
During the meeting with the President, Vice President and First Lady of Ghana, Chen Yongxin introduced the general situation of China's building materials import and export development and the relevant situation of the "one district, one factory" project, and said that he would actively participate in Ghana's national construction, hoping that with the support of the Ghanaian government, the "one district, one factory" project would achieve great success. The President of Ghana said that the "one zone, one factory" project is an important project for Ghana's industrialization. The Ghanaian government is very concerned about the progress of the project and believes that China has sufficient capacity and strength to do a good job in the import and export of building materials. The Vice President of Ghana and the First Lady of Ghana also highly praised the contribution of China's building materials import and export to Ghana's economic construction, and highly recognized the "one district, one factory" project.
During his stay in Ghana, Chen Yongxin also held discussions with the Minister of Trade and Industry of Ghana on the project of "one district, one factory", and reached consensus on project financing, implementation plan, docking mechanism and government interaction. The two sides plan to launch the first batch of projects this year as the flagship factory of "one district, one factory" to drive the follow-up projects. Chen Yongxin also signed the cooperation agreement of "one district, one factory" with the representative of the Ministry of Trade and Industry of Ghana, and witnessed the signing of the bank memorandum and the project contract. CNBM Import and Export signed 22 contracts with a total value of more than 400 million US dollars, including soybean oil factory, peanut oil factory, palm oil factory, rice factory, starch factory, alcohol factory, soybean milk factory, paper towel factory and garment factory.

Participated in Indonesia Cement Industry Exhibition and Technical Seminar
From May 3 to 5, in order to promote China's advanced energy-saving technology and equipment to go out, Sinoma Energy Conservation, a subsidiary of China Building Material Group, went to Indonesia to participate in the "South-South Cooperation Project of Energy-saving and Environmental Protection Industry" jointly launched by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and the United Nations Industrial Development Organization-INAGREENTECH Exhibition and China Waste Heat Recovery Technology Promoting Cement Industry Power Generation Seminar.

Namibia Cement Clinker Line Installation Project Officially Started
Recently, the first column of the kiln tail frame of the second phase clinker line construction project of Namibia Whale Stone Cement Company, supervised by Hefei Institute affiliated to China Building Materials Group, was successfully lifted and installed in place, which marked the formal start of the equipment installation project of the project and also marked that the project entered a critical stage of construction.
The installation accuracy of the kiln tail frame column is very high, especially the installation of the column base bolt assembly. The supervisors of the Supervision Department shall strictly follow the inspection and acceptance procedures, and actively carry out quality control, safety control, progress control and cost control. In order to ensure the total construction period of the project, the staff of the supervision department of Hefei Institute Supervision Company still stick to their posts and work overtime during the Spring Festival, and actively carry out supervision work, laying a solid foundation for the start of the installation project on schedule.
Since entering the site, all the staff of the project supervision department have conscientiously fulfilled the supervision obligations stipulated in the supervision contract and actively provided reasonable suggestions to the owners. The service concept, working attitude and technical level of the supervisors have been well received by the owners. All the staff of the supervision department said that they would continue to actively carry out supervision work and work together with all the participants to build the project as a model project and demonstration project for the owners in Africa.
