At 2 p.m. on January 18, 2018, South African time, Chinese Ambassador to South Africa Lin Songtian, accompanied by Counsellor Zhao Zhongyi, Counsellor Tang Zhongdong, Director Liu Licheng, Secretary Li Jian and Secretary Sun Tengfei, visited the site of Jinyu Jidong Mamba Cement Project.
During the talks, Lin Songtian and the shareholder representatives had detailed exchanges on the economic, cultural and social development status of China and South Africa, and learned about the financing, construction and production and operation of Jinyu Jidong Mamba Cement Project.
He believes that the cement industry is a dominant industry in China. In North China, BBMG Jidong is a leader in the industry, advanced in production technology and management level, especially in the Mamba Cement Project invested in South Africa, which has adopted a new financing mode, and there are many remarkable places. It is believed that BBMG Jidong can introduce the advanced technology and management experience of the cement industry to South Africa, and develop Mamba Cement well together with South African colleagues. It is also hoped that this project can really benefit the local area, contribute to the development of the local society and the improvement of people's living standards, and realize the common development and mutual benefit between Chinese investment enterprises and the local society.
After the meeting, the inspection team visited the factory area of the project and had a close conversation with the front-line employees.
40 P. M. that day, the visit and inspection activities ended. Before his departure, Lin Songtian said: It is better to meet than to be famous. BBMG Jidong Mamba Cement Project has done a good job. I hope that BBMG Jidong can make the production and operation work a model like the previous project financing.
