On December 8, Sinoma Energy Conservation and SCG Cement Group of Thailand signed a general contract for waste heat power generation for its two cement companies, VCM and SG of Vietnam, in Bangkok. Wang Yi, Assistant President of Sinoma Energy Conservation and General Manager of Waste Heat Power Generation Division, and Noppasak Jitsakulchaidej, Chief Financial Officer of SCG Cement Group Vietnam Company, signed on behalf of both parties.
The two contracted waste heat power station projects will be constructed using an existing cement production line with a daily output of 5000 tons of VCM Cement Company and a cement production line with a daily output of 4000 tons of SG Cement Company respectively, with a total installed capacity of 17.5 MW. This is another joint cooperation of Sinoma Energy Conservation after the successful implementation and stable operation of the waste heat power generation projects of Thailand's STS, STL and SLP cement companies under SCG Cement Group. It is also another important order obtained by Sinoma Energy Conservation in the Vietnam market after the successful implementation and stable operation of the HON CHONG waste heat power generation general contracting project of HOLCIM Group.
The signing of this project has given full play to the advantages of synergy and complementarity of internal resources of China Building Materials Group. The interaction and cooperation between Sinoma Energy Conservation and Suzhou Sinoma Construction Co., Ltd. has provided strong support and guarantee for the signing and smooth construction of the project by virtue of its experience and construction strength in the Vietnamese market.
