On December 6, Kazakhstan held a video teleconference on the achievements of national industrialization entitled "New Industrialization: Snow Leopard of Kazakhstan in the Leap Forward". President Nazarbayev of Kazakhstan attended the meeting, and Gezhouba Cement was invited to accept the inspection.
At the meeting, Nazarbayev inspected the construction of Gezhouba Cement Kazakhstan Cement Investment Project in the form of video. Liming, Chairman of Gezhouba Cement and Secretary of the Party Committee, gave a brief introduction to the basic situation of the project.
Li Ming said that Gezhouba Cement Kazakhstan Project is a model of production capacity cooperation between China and Kazakhstan, with a total investment of 178 million US dollars, mainly producing oil well cement, which can effectively fill the gap in Kazakhstan's national oil well cement market.
Nazarbayev pointed out that the project has played an important role in the industrial development of Kazakhstan. After the completion of the project, it will effectively solve the situation that Kazakhstan's domestic oil well cement relies on imports. He hoped that Gezhouba Cement would adhere to the pragmatic and responsible spirit of Chinese enterprises, cooperate sincerely with all parties, accelerate the progress of project construction and make positive contributions to the economic and social development of Kazakhstan.
