This year marks the tenth anniversary of the company's entry into Tanzania. In the past ten years, the company has developed into a supplier of building materials with steel, cement and ceramics as its three main products and great scale effect and influence in Tanzania. The foundation laying ceremony of the distribution center opened a new platform for the Group's development in Tanzania and laid a more solid foundation for the Group's further development in Tanzania.
In his speech, Song Zhiping pointed out that Africa is the historical and natural extension of the Maritime Silk Road, and also an important direction and foothold for the construction of the "the Belt and Road". The Group has been deeply engaged in Tanzania and Africa for many years, supplying a number of cement engineering general contracting projects for Africa, and investing in the construction of building materials industrial parks, logistics distribution centers, building materials and home furnishing supermarket chains, making positive contributions to the economic and social development of Tanzania and Africa. In the future, the Group will rely on its existing advantageous resources and under the guidance of the "the Belt and Road" initiative and the "going global" strategy, accelerate the layout and construction of cluster industries in Tanzania and Africa, provide diversified and high-end products and services for the African people, and jointly build and share with African enterprises and people, so as to make greater contributions to the economic and social development of Africa.
In his speech, Wang Ke warmly congratulated the establishment of Tanzania Distribution Center, fully affirmed the Group's contribution to Tanzania's economic and social development, and expressed his continued support for the Group's development in Tanzania. Mwijagai delivered an ebullient speech, thanking the Group for its efforts in the development of the local cement industry and building materials industry, congratulating the establishment of the distribution center and expressing the Tanzanian government's strong support for the development of Chinese building materials in the local area. In his speech, Laitata described the good cooperative relationship with China Building Materials Group and expressed the hope that the cooperation between the two companies would continue to develop healthily in the future.
During the inspection of China Construction Investment Tanzania Company, Song Zhiping listened carefully to the company's work report on replicating the successful experience of building materials supermarkets in Papua New Guinea to carry out business in Tanzania. He fully affirmed and supported the company's development plan to lay out 100 building materials and home furnishing supermarket chains in Africa in the next five years. Song Zhiping also attended the opening ceremony of the second building materials and home furnishing supermarket chain of China Construction Investment. After the first Builder 'sCenter building materials home supermarket chain opened on May 27, 2017 and achieved smooth operation, the second store officially opened and put into operation. By 2018, Tanzania will complete the laying of the third branch in the city of Tanzania, and plans to complete the laying of the second phase of three branches in the three major cities of Dodoma, Muwanza and Arusha in Tanzania in 2019, opening up the rapid development of the Group's building materials and home furnishing supermarket chain business in Tanzania.
During his visit to Sinoma International Tanzania, Song Zhiping had a detailed understanding of the company's business development locally and throughout Africa, and listened to the company's report on its innovative transformation and its positive attempts to achieve the transformation and development of the group's engineering business in related and diversified fields. Song Zhiping listened carefully to the work reports of various enterprises on their business status, development planning and Party building, and congratulated and praised the achievements made by various enterprises.
