According to reports, it is likely that the ventilation pipe of the ship failed, causing seawater to flow back into the hull, causing the port side of the ship to tilt, and eventually causing it to capsize and sink.

As for the number of crew members on board, the information from all sides is not consistent. It is reported that seven crew members have been rescued and five others are missing, including the captain.
