Vietnam: Cement and clinker exports up 6.7% in April

In the first four months of this year, Vietnam exported 6.7 million tons of cement and clinker, an increase of 12.8% over the same period last year, and an increase of 7.9% to 235 million US dollars.

   According to the latest data from Vietnam Customs, in April 2017, Vietnam exported 1.9 million tons of cement and clinker , with an export value of 67.4 million US dollars, an increase of 6.7% and 7.6% respectively. In the first four months of this year, Vietnam exported 6.7 million tons of cement and clinker, an increase of 12.8% over the same period last year, and an increase of 7.9% to 235 million US dollars.

   Bangladesh and the Philippines are the largest importers, accounting for 37% and 32% of Vietnam's exports, respectively. In addition, Peru, Taiwan, Sri Lanka, Mozambique, Malaysia, Cambodia, Laos and Australia are all large importers of cement and clinker from Vietnam.
