He briefly introduced the basic situation of Wuhu City and Conch Group, focusing on Conch's participation in the construction of "the Belt and Road" and the layout of overseas markets. He said that the friendship between China and Russia has a long history and political mutual trust has been deepening. In the process of internationalization, Conch is very optimistic about the Russian market, actively responding to the directive spirit of the state and the Anhui Provincial Government on promoting cooperation between Anhui Province and the Federal District along the Volga River in Russia, and jointly building the Volga Conch Project with Wuzhou Development Group. The project has prominent advantages in location, resources and market. It is believed that with the strong support of the state government and the joint efforts of both partners, the project will be built and developed well. Conch Group will adopt advanced energy-saving and environmental protection technology, excellent equipment, promote project construction with high standards, implement localization strategy, build the project into an overseas benchmark enterprise, strive to put into operation as soon as possible, and make positive contributions to promoting local economic and social development, government tax revenue and employment. The Volga Conch Project is one of the important achievements in response to the call of the Chinese and Russian governments to expand the economic, trade and investment cooperation between the two river basins. The state government attaches great importance to it and will continue to support the construction of the project, create a good environment and conditions, accelerate the implementation of the project, strive to complete and put into operation before 2019, and present a great gift for the 70th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Russia. Ulyanovsk has a good industrial foundation, convenient transportation, and relatively developed automobile manufacturing and metal processing industries.
