On June 6, 2017, Lusaka time, Song Zhiping, Chairman of China Building Materials Group, visited China Building Materials Zambia Industrial Park.
At the construction site of the industrial park, Song Zhiping inspected the construction of the clinker cement production line project with an annual output of 1 million tons , the operation of the commercial mixing station that has been put into operation, and the progress of the sintered brick project under preparation, and fully affirmed the overall planning ideas and strategic development direction of the industrial park. Commend the progress and achievements of the project. China Building Material Zambia Industrial Park is invested and constructed by Sinoma Cement , and Sinoma Construction is the EPC general contractor. Under the leadership and support of the Group, the project is highly in line with the development concept of the Group. In the process of implementation, it adheres to the innovative "going out" mode, optimizes and integrates resources, coordinates social responsibility, and adheres to green development. Always pursue the coordinated development of economic and social benefits. The Zambia project has been implemented for only 7 months, and the site progress has reached 35% and the overall progress has reached 69.12%.
Song Zhiping then listened to the report on the project construction. The briefing was presided over by Sui Yumin, Vice President of Sinoma and Chairman of Sinoma Cement. Zhang yuanci, Vice President of Sinoma Cement and Chairman of Sinoma Mpande, and Wang Bin, Project Manager of Sinoma Construction, respectively introduced the basic situation of Sinoma Cement and Sinoma Construction and the implementation of the internationalization strategy. As well as the planning and implementation of China Building Materials Zambia Industrial Park, the implementation and management, the performance of social responsibility, the construction of corporate culture and the next work ideas.
After listening to the report, Song Zhiping raised three hopes and requirements: First, we should deeply understand and fully understand the important position of Africa in the construction of the "the Belt and Road". The construction of the "the Belt and Road" is not only an important carrier for expanding overseas markets and participating in international capacity cooperation, but also undertakes the great mission of realizing the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation and realizing the "Chinese Dream"; Secondly, we should further clarify the industrial orientation and overall objectives of China Building Materials Zambia Industrial Park, coordinate industrial development, green development and high-end development, and build the Industrial Park into a model for China Building Materials Group to implement the national strategy of "the Belt and Road"; Third, we should integrate into Africa, Zambia, local economic and social development, build factories in forests, take root in Africa for a long time, and build respected and popular brands. Sui Yumin said that as an enterprise actively exploring overseas and fully realizing independent investment, design, construction and operation, Sinoma Cement will do a good job in the construction of industrial parks in accordance with the requirements of Chairman Song Zhiping, and be responsible for shareholders, employees, customers and society.
Song Zhiping then visited the NACHTETE Primary School funded by Sinoma Mpande Company and visited the teachers and children in class. Eliana Tembo, the principal, said emotionally that the schools and hospitals built by Sinoma Mpande were eagerly anticipated by the surrounding areas for many years, and the local people were deeply grateful for them.
During the visit, Song Zhiping met with Nkmansa Mukamambo II, Senior Chief of Busori, Zambia, and representatives of village committees at all levels, and introduced the current construction progress of China Building Materials Zambia Industrial Park. He pointed out that the industrial park will be built into a factory in the forest in the future, and the company will continue to fulfill its social responsibility and make due contributions to the local economic and social development of Zambia. Nkmansa Mukamambo II expressed her agreement with CNBM Group's good humanistic construction and management concepts, expressed her heartfelt thanks to CNBM Group for benefiting the local people, and expressed her active support for the promotion of the project of Sinoma Mpande Company, and wished all projects in the industrial park to be completed and put into operation as soon as possible.
