巴基斯坦首个煤炭水泥装卸基础设施--卡西姆港巴基斯坦国际散货码头本周处理了一艘运载4.1万吨煤炭的载货船舶，标志其正式投入运营。
巴基斯坦《论坛快报》5月4日报道，巴基斯坦首个煤炭水泥装卸基础设施--卡西姆港巴基斯坦国际散货码头本周处理了一艘运载4.1万吨煤炭的载货船舶，标志其正式投入运营。另外一艘装载3.9万吨煤炭的船舶已停靠码头，已开始进行卸载作业。该码头公司在一份声明中表示，装有上述同等重量煤炭的船舶在其他港口需花费7天时间完成装卸，而在卡西姆港巴基斯坦国际散货码头只需2天即可完成。报道指出，卡西姆港巴基斯坦国际散货码头占地62英亩，具备每年装卸1200万吨货物的能力。
