Recently, Tianjin Cement Industry Design and Research Institute Co., Ltd. and Pakistan Gerat Cement Company (CHERAT CEMENT COMPANY) LTD-CCCL) signed a formal contract for the EP contracting project of the cement clinker production line with a daily output of 6700 tons of Jelat Cement at the headquarters of CCCL, the owner of Jelat Cement in Karachi, Pakistan.
Sun Haiquan, Deputy Director of International Marketing Department of Tianjin Institute, and AZAM FARUQUE, CEO of Gerat Cement Company, signed the contract on behalf of both parties respectively. MR YASIR MASOOD, Financial Director of Gerat Cement Company, Wang Enqiang, Marketing Manager of Tianjin Institute, and Zhang E, Project Manager, attended the signing ceremony.
The project will mainly use domestic cement technology and equipment. The scope of the contract is from raw material transportation to cement packaging and delivery, including engineering design, equipment supply, installation and commissioning technical guidance. The contract period is 24 months.
Located in the North-West Frontier Province of Pakistan, Gerat Cement Co., Ltd. was established in 1981 and belongs to the Ghulam Farooque Group of Pakistan (GFG) Group, which is mainly engaged in the production of cement and other building materials and is one of the top 100 enterprises in Pakistan. At present, it has two cement clinker production lines, with a daily output of 3200 tons of cement clinker in the first line and 4200 tons in the second line. The signing of the third-line project is another cooperative achievement after the completion of the second-line project of Gerat Cement, which fully reflects the owner's recognition and trust in the design capability and equipment supplied by Tianjin Institute.
